Institut Klinické a Experimentál Medicine
For more than 35 years, the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine has been providing health services at top level. The main aim of the Institute is the constant improvement of health care for patients; improve therapies and applying the latest scientific knowledge in practice.

IKEM became one of the largest specialized clinical and scientific research centers in the Czech Republic, which focuses on cardiovascular diseases, organ transplants, Diabetology and treatment of metabolic disorders.
In three centers with specialized care for patients, they include more than 227 doctors and about 577 nurses. There are a total of 312 beds, of which 83 beds are in intensive care.
