| Who should consider undergoing the surgery? |
|
| Nose surgeries are advisable for the poeple who would like to enhance their facial appearance by increasing the nose bridge or re-shaping for a more defined nose. |

| How long should I stay in the destination for mandible nose surgery? |

| Nose reshaping requires 1 night stay in the hospital while nose implant is done on out-patient basis. Post operative check up and stitches removal will be done 7 days after the procedure. |

| How is the procedure performed? |
|
For nose implants, the surgeon will insert the silicone on the bridge of the nose through an incision Approximately 1 cm. on the sides of nostrils.
A pocket is made at the ridge of the nose cartilage into which is inserted the prepared silicone.
For nose reshaping, the incisions are hidden inside the nose. Through these incisions, the soft tissues that cover the nose are gently raised, allowing access to reshape the structure of the nose. |

| What kind of anesthesia will be used? |
|
| Nose reshaping surgery is performed under General Anesthesia, but nose implant surgery is performed under local anesthesia. |
|
|
|
| What is the post-surgical care? |
|
After the surgery, a patient will apply cold compress over the operative site for 2-3 days and do not sleep flat on your face.
Bleeding will usually stop one day after the procedure.
The patient should avoid strenuous activities for 2 weeks after the surgery, as this may increase the swelling. Swelling subsides and complete healing is expected in almost 3 months. |

| How will the scar looks? |
|
| The scars will be hidden inside the nose and is hardly recognized. |
|
|
|
| What are the common complications? |
|
| The common complications are swelling, bruising, bleeding, infection, scarring and numbness, or change in sensation. Adhering to the attending surgeon instructions will reduce risks and complications. |
