Cairo is a bustling, vibrant city, a blend of ancient and modern, multi-cultural and a mixture of sophistication and simplicity. Africa’s biggest and busiest city has an atmosphere all of its own, with contemporary life juxtaposed with history and all the smells and sounds of daily life.
This is the place to experience the buzz of bartering in the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, and marvelling at the mighty Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx. Enjoy the city’s luxury hotels and the wonder at the wealth of treasures in the Cairo Museum.

Shopping is fun in this great city and one can buy anything from fake designer merchandise to genuine gold and silver, linen and cotton goods, pretty glass perfume bottles, traditional scenes on papyrus paper and all manner of souvenirs to suit all tastes. After a day’s shopping or sightseeing, spend the evening at one of Cairo’s many nightspots, or visit one of the casinos. Cairenes eat and sleep late, and the party atmosphere can last till dawn.
