Paris, a city with a timeless spirit, is a perfect contrast of past and present. It is an exciting city of contradictions, lively but laid back, beautiful architecture and starkly modern buildings. The city has a variety of attractions to delight the visitor, from the many magnificent museums, galleries and churches to the elegant and trendy shops. The River Seine divides the city in two - the Right Bank’s famous landmarks including the white domed Sacre Coeur at the top of Montmartre, with its spectacular view over the city, and the Left Bank, famous for its Latin Quarter, home to the mighty Eiffel Tower.

France has one of the world’s greatest cuisines and the Parisians take their food seriously. Whether a snack or a gastronomic dinner, every meal will be mouth-wateringly delicious and impeccably served.

Paris is still the world’s fashion capital, and many of the great names in haute couture can be found on or around the Rue du Faubourg St-Honore. Stylish boutiques abound on the Left Bank, and in the four-storey underground malls of the Forum des Halles and major department stores on the Boulevard Haussmann. The city is most certainly a shopper’s paradise.
