The island of Rhodes is a wonderful blend of ancient and modern. The island is full of things to see and do, from adventurous sports such as scuba-diving to historical activities such as visiting an archaelogical museum, or shopping for souvenirs.
Rhodes town is home to a magnificent castle which has been called a “masterpiece of engineering” and Mandraki Harbour was once the site of the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Lindos is host to the Temple of Athene, the Acropolis, and from the top there are breathtaking views of the village and bay.
The variety and extent of Rhodes coastline make it possible for bathers to enjoy an infinite number of different beaches, all lapped by warm, crystal clear water.
