The third largest of the Balearic Islands, Ibiza has a deserved reputation as a resort with a hectic pace and lots of nightlife, but it is also a wonderful place for a quieter holiday.

Excellent beach resorts and as much or as little entertainment and nightlife as you want, and, away from the hot spots, Ibiza has lots of secluded hideaways. Its a marvellous holiday destination for young and old, for families or singles.

The beauty of the landscape is incomparable and its coastline is magnificent. The main beaches generally have golden sands which slope gently into the sea. Old Ibiza town has twisting, cobbled streets winding between old buildings, inhabited not only by locals but by foreign residents who have fallen in love with the island, and many have been converted into bars, restaurants and boutiques. So, there is plenty to see and do on this fun-loving yet peaceful island.
